⭐️⭐️ We walked into this speakeasy and the bar was completely open, with about 14 seats and only two people sitting there. We asked if we needed a reservation and were told that we did, but that we could sit at the bar. So we proceeded toward the bar, only to have a gentleman stop us and tell us that all of those seats were already accounted for. At that point, we were honestly a little confused and decided to leave. As we were walking out, four people who were already sitting there kindly told us that we could sit with them. That was incredibly nice of them, and because they were so welcoming, I ended up buying their drinks as a thank-you. Unfortunately, the interaction with the staff/possibly owner left us with a pretty negative first impression. I completely understand having a reservation policy, but the communication could have been much clearer and the way the situation was handled felt unwelcoming. The people inside who invited us to sit with them were wonderful and completely changed the tone of the experience. I just wish the initial interaction had matched that same welcoming atmosphere. They could of let us sit at bar and when the reservation came the was time to go.

I am originally from the area but moved away several years ago-- I visited Youngstown over the weekend and popped into this cocktail bar with my brother on Friday evening. It was so impressive that I brought my husband on Saturday evening before heading back out of town! The food was delicious, the drinks are amazing, the atmosphere is absolutely adorable, and the service was impeccable during both of my visits this weekend! I cannot recommend this place enough if you live in the area or if you are visiting the area. Try the whiskey sour and get a pizza-- grab some friends or a date, get dressed up (but not necessary to get too dressed up), and enjoy! :)

This is the type of place this area needed! Serving excellent craft cocktails (no beer), in an atmosphere that has a classic look. It is recommended that you dress nice (not suit and tie) which adds to the atmosphere as well!

Hidden gem alert 🍸✨ Just checked out Vice & Virtue Speakeasy Social Lounge and it definitely delivered the vibe. From the moment you walk in, it’s low-lit, smooth music playing, and that exclusive “you gotta know where you’re going” feel. Real laid-back but still upscale. The drinks were on point — you can tell the bartenders actually know what they’re doing. Everything tasted crafted, not rushed. If you’re into unique cocktails instead of basic pours, this is your lane. Atmosphere is probably the best part though. It’s not overcrowded, not loud, just the right energy to chill, talk, or vibe out. Perfect for date nights or just switching things up from the usual bar scene. Only thing — since it’s more of a speakeasy concept, don’t expect it to be super obvious to find or wide open like a regular bar. That’s part of the experience. Overall: solid spot, good energy, and definitely worth checking out if you like a more low-key, classy night out.

This place is amazing! It’s perfect for a date night out, we tried a few of the drinks. My favorite was The Altar Rail. We had pizza, but I did not take a photo of it. It was delicious, can’t wait to go back! It has a speakeasy vibe, and a great little getaway. If you don’t drink alcohol, they have a great selection of mocktails.
